COD Specialist-In Office

We are seeking a full-time COD-Accounts Receivable Specialist with 2+ years in A/R and general bookkeeping. This position is in-office; no remote or hybrid available.

This position will receive, process and reconcile COD’s received from shipments to return to shipper. The COD-Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for COD’s from multiple customers and locations; organizational skills are critical. The COD-Accounts Receivable Specialist interacts with employees and managers and serves as an accounting resource to help resolve problems.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • 2+ years of A/R accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Good communication skills; ability to learn new software systems with training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work full-time regular office hours with flexibility to work some overtime
  • Office hours vary between 7am – 6 pm with possible overtime hours, M-F.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • A/R, multiple location management; critical to be organized and thorough
  • Attention to detail; accuracy of data management is a must
  • Team environment; good interpersonal skills required, working alongside colleagues
  • Communication through email and phone is critical
  • Fast-paced environment; constant deadlines and sometimes switching tasks midstream
  • Independent, strong thinking with ability to adapt to changing circumstances
